26 x 1 3/8 Dunlop steel bicycle wheel in Fishponds, City of Bristol for sale
Spares or repairs: one rear 26" wheel with Sturmey Archer AB 3 speed brake hub. The rim is a steel Dunlop rim. Embossed on the rim it says "Dunlop 26 x 1 3/8 EA3 Made in England UK Pat. 255436". Wheel is more or less true when just running between my fingers but there is a noticeable flat spot, will require some work to get it perfectly round. Can't make any comment about the functionality of the hub as I have never used this wheel. It has an oiler. It is a Sturmey Archer AB hub marked "54 IO THREE - SPEED". All parts move freely, the spindle appears straight but I cannot vouch for the effectiveness of the brake or whether the other 2 speeds will engage. It is untested, hence listed as spares or repairs. The chrome on the hub is in good condition, the teeth on the sprocket look good. There is some loss of chrome to the rim but overall not too bad. 40 spokes - might suit a tandem.
